2017 - 2018

Prior to my degree, I completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Central Saint Martins, a fast-paced, exploratory year that allowed me to work across multiple diagnostic pathways including fine art, graphic design, fashion, and spatial practices. The course encouraged broad experimentation, hands-on making, and research-led development, helping me build a strong portfolio while refining my creative voice and critical thinking. This year was instrumental in clarifying my direction toward graphic communication design, and provided a valuable grounding in process, materiality, and concept-led making that continues to inform my practice today. It was also a deeply experimental and personal year - one that pushed me beyond the constraints of my own style, surrounded by inspiring tutors and peers, and marked my first step away from home, giving me the space to discover not only what I wanted to study, but how I wanted to grow.
